The future hangs over our heads

So I'm up at dawn, putting on my shoes,
I just want to make a clean escape-
I'm leaving but I don't know where to.
Yeah, I know I'm leaving but I don't know where to.

Look at me, all melancholic! And nonsensical as it happens. Last day of work...

Don't go Lucy...Dublin needs you! Lucy Aughney, out there, on the edge, probably drunk. Its a comfort.

Where on earth did I get this reputation for being an alcoholic? Oh... here.

Most people DON'T jazz hands down the road at four in the morning singing "The Importance of Being Idle". Most non-drunkards DON'T rap on D'olier St. Most people DON'T slap THEIR OWN asses in public. But you aint most people.

Over the last year i've come to terms with the fact that my new housemates dont 1.get me water when i want it 2. change the channel for me & 3. explain whats going on in CSI coz i'm too lazy to pay attention - all the while when coping with these adaptations and the loss of the comforts i'd become accustomed to with Lucifer i'd get by just knowing that somewhere in the cold infamiliarity and anonymity of this city Lucinda was there getting drunk and wanting to cook crepes on a banjo -

YOU'RE DEAD TO ME
